Join Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital as a Volunteer
- Are you looking for the kind of personal fulfillment that can only come from serving others?
- Do you have a heart for helping others through difficult circumstances?
- Do you enjoy working with people?
Then we invite you to become part of our healing team as a Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Volunteer!
Volunteers, often called the heart of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, are an important component in the quest to make our Health System the best it can be.
Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
The Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Auxiliary was founded by a group of civic minded women in 1955. The purpose of this organization was to promote and advance the welfare of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital through interpretation of the hospital to the public, through service to the hospital and its patients and through fundraising in harmony with community planning.
Today, hospital volunteers include Auxiliary members and high school and college students. Volunteer opportunities fit into almost any schedule – with something to challenge every individual. We have the best of all worlds at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital – the absolute finest in patient care and an army of volunteers enriched by the experiences and background that each person brings to his or her job.
To join the Auxiliary, please contact our Membership Team at (707) 525-5300 ext. 6027.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities cover the spectrum – from direct patient contact through working on nursing units, providing “retail therapy” as a Gift Shop Cashier, staffing the Information Desk, clerical duties in the Volunteer Office and other offices, fundraising mailings, sewing and crafts groups, etc.
