James B. and Billie Keegan Leadership Series

The Leadership Series seeks to inspire others to serve our community as James & Billie Keegan so generously did for more than 50 years. This annual spring luncheon brings education and information to Sonoma County through local and national public speakers. Each year, outstanding community leaders are recognized who exemplify James and Billie Keegan’s philosophy of “giving back” to the community. Proceeds from the Leadership Series help support Memorial's Palliative Care Center.

James B. & Billie Keegan Palliative Care Center

The James B. & Billie Keegan Palliative Care Center is a unique inpatient service that provides compassionate and comprehensive care to patients and their families facing advanced stages of illness. Open 24 hours a day, the center provides a softer, less institutional environment where families and friends may visit and remain close. Staffed by specially trained nurses and clinicians, palliative care embodies many of the principles of hospice and in many cases alleviates, if only for the short term, the physical effects of a life ending illness. When people are well cared for, hope and kindness emerge.
