Great hospitals have always relied on philanthropy to attract and retain the finest practitioners and staff, to make the newest, cutting-edge technology attainable and to anticipate and meet the changing health care needs of the community. New medical discoveries happen continuously, technology keeps evolving, the population keeps growing and equipment wears out. All of us need to help.
Your contributions to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Petaluma Valley Hospital Foundations are tax deductible, and 100 percent of every gift goes for the purpose you choose. No portion of your gift is used for administrative costs.
How do I become a part of the Hospitals' Foundations?
You can participate in our community of compassion, hope and healing by:
- Contributing any amount for the Hospital or for a special area of interest within the Hospital,
- Volunteering at the Hospitals,
- Work directly with patient care on nursing units,
- Provide "retail therapy" as a Gift Shop Cashier,
- Staff the Information Desk,
- Assist staff in the Volunteer Office and other offices,
- Help with fund-raising mailings or join the sewing and crafts groups making puppets for children in the Emergency Department,
- Sponsoring a special event,
- Establishing a donor advised fund with a gift of $10,000 or more,
- Making a legacy gift while making sure your family's needs come first.
