Dr. Jackson graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1980. He has since had training in internal medicine, aero-medical medicine and neurology. He served as chief of the physical exam section and as an emergency physician at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco and he was the 6th Army Fight Surgeon. He completed his psychiatry training in 1991, and has been board certified in psychiatry since 1992. He has 15 years of experience in private practice, has worked as a psychotherapist with complex patients, and was the psychiatrist for the students as the University of Hawaii, Manoa, in Honolulu. Dr. Jackson primarily handles medication consultations. He continues to develop his long-time interest in depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD and other dissociative disorder, as well as neuropsychiatric conditions.
