Physician BioDr Yohai specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive laser surgery of the
eyelids and upper face. He is an expert in the management of cataracts,
glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye problems and thyroid eye disease.
Dr.
Yohai is one of an elite rank of 400 surgeons nationally who are trained in the
reconstruction and beautification of eyelids. Following his residency in
Ophthalmology, Dr. Yohai was awarded a formal fellowship in eyelid plastic and
orbital surgery (one of only 30 nationwide).
Dr. Yohai is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a
fellow with the American
College of Eye Surgeons
and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. He is a member of several associations
including the American Medical Association and the Sonoma County Medical
Association.
The author of numerous medical journal articles and studies, Dr. Yohai also spends his time teaching other medical professionals. He
has presented at many hospitals and universities around the country and serves as an assistant clinical professor of
Family Practice at the University of California, San Francisco,
and as an assistant clinical professor of Ophthalmology at California Pacific
Medical Center.
