A Healthy Workplace

Part of St. Joseph Health's mission is to create the healthiest communities possible. Through our Workplace Health Initiative, we offer support services to area businesses to help improve employee health.

We work with businesses to identify and address employee health risks. Our goal is to create healthy employees by reducing and eliminating these health risks, offering educational classes, seminars, health screenings and fairs, and much more.

Our Workforce Health Initiative helps businesses improve employee health, control costs, and ultimately improves the workplace through decreased absenteeism, increased productivity and enhanced employee morale.

The Sonoma County Economic Development Board, in conjunction with Health Action’s Work Site Wellness Work group, now has a work site wellness certification program, iWORKwell. This voluntary program acknowledges employers who have designed and implemented wellness programs within their organizations.
