Work@Health is a science-based program developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that provides employers access to professional-level training in work-site wellness. The training is comprehensive and science based, designed to give employers the necessary knowledge and resources to customize a plan for work-site wellness that will be sustainable and get results.

The Work Healthy program offers many services to large and small group employers who offer insurance plans with access to Providence Medical Network.

Inspire healthy living year-round with our monthly health information. Each month our e-newsletter will deliver flyers featuring health and wellness tips, available in English and Spanish. We encourage you to print and post these in a common place at your worksite, or send electronically to employees. (Complimentary)

Comprehensive science based training designed to give employers the necessary knowledge and resources to customize a plan for work-site wellness that will engage employees, get results and help you achieve or build upon a culture of wellness. (Complimentary)

On-site support to help your employees maximize their health insurance plan benefits and navigate through the health care system. (Complimentary)

We welcome the opportunity to participate or help you plan any upcoming health fair or open enrollment event your business may hold. We can provide services such as translation assistance (English and Spanish), health plan navigation, interactive educational displays and much more. (Complimentary)

30-60 minute wellness presentations available on a variety of health topics including: heart health, eating for longevity, eating healthy on the go & stress management.

One-on-one, on-site health coaching sessions also available.

Cost may be associated. Two presentations offered per year or more as schedule allows.

Screenings available include: Blood Pressure, BMI, Body Fat%, Cholesterol, Glucose, A1c, Triglyceride, DermaScan and Hearing. WHA members covered at no cost!

The Work Healthy Live Healthy portal offers a turnkey platform for web-based delivery of wellness challenges and health resources. The portal is FREE to join and offers many complimentary year-round resources including SNAP challenges, recipes, workout videos and educational articles that will help you start climbing towards a healthier lifestyle.

Join the annual group challenge in January or set up a personalized challenge for your organization. Track daily activity minutes and receive weekly newsletters that provide tips and motivation to increase physical activity and focus on your health and well being. The annual group challenge has a $12 per participant cost. The portal is open to employer groups and community members, so grab your co-workers, friends or family and let’s live healthy!

iWALK is platform of walking and wellness resources for Employer Groups and Community Members. The goal is to provide resources and information for adults to increase their physical activity level to at least 150 minutes per week, whether at work, at home or at play. The World Health Organization recommends that adults achieve at least 150 minutes of physical activity per week, to maintain health and reduce the risk of noncommunicable disease such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

  • Walking program starter kits
  • Trail maps
  • Connections to the iDo26.2 program for kids
  • iWALK was Sonoma County Health Action's first Initiative. St. Joseph Health has since helped to expand iWALK to include Napa and Sonoma County. Health Action is a partnership of community leaders and organizations who are committed to improving health and health care for all Sonoma County residents with the goal of being the healthiest county in California by 2020. With iWALK, Health Action and St. Joseph Health hope to:

  • Inspire people all over Sonoma County and surrounding regions to begin walking regularly to improve their health.
  • Inspire people to participate in local healthy events and join walking groups or form new ones with friends, neighbors or co-workers.
  • Provide employers and the community with resources and toolkits to help promote walking and physical activity.
