The pulse & heart beats represent the main goal of iWALK, to help people get at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercise each week. This is the amount recommended by the World Health Organization to help reduce the risk of chronic disease.

iWALK is now proudly powered by St. Joseph Health! Use the Healthy Events Calendar to find local walks, fun runs and healthy activities. Visit the Employers page for toolkits and resources to help increase physical activity at your worksite. Get your employees, friends or family members motivated to exercise through the wellness challenges!

Join the iWALK Challenge June 12 - August 18, 2017

This summer enjoy the great outdoors with the iWalk Challenge which encourages participants to get at least 150 minutes of exercise per week by participating in physical activity of their choice, with an emphasis on walking. Sync your favorite devices or apps to track your daily activity. Team up or participate individually to track your progress, set goals, and create healthy habits. Participants and teams have chances to win prizes weekly and at the end of the challenge.

the iWalk Challenge will be hosted on an all new Live Healthy portal with upgraded features and resources. Stay tuned for more information!

Organization Spirit Award:

The Hess Collection Winery

Congratulation the Hess Collection Winery, winners of the 2017 10 Week Wellness Challenge Company Spirit Award! They had 78 Participants who together logged an outstanding 417,228 minutes of physical activity and reported losing 173 lbs. Hess Collection Winery sets a model for best practice in the implementation of wellness challenges by engaging and motivating employees to participate throughout the length of the challenge.
