Thank you for understanding that fit employees are happy employees! And congratulations on making an organizational commitment to promote fitness in your workplace! iWALK is a movement designed to make exercise and movement a priority at work as well as at home. We hope you will reap the benefits of iWALK: greater productivity, healthier employees, and a boost in employee morale.

Resources & Toolkits

Become a Recognized iWALK Employer

By becoming an iWALK Employer, you pledge to promote a culture of fitness in your workplace. You can do this in some simple ways like:

  • Encourage your employees to get out and exercise during breaks, lunch and whenever else they can fit it in.
  • Hold walking meetings when possible. Staff members love to get out of the office, which also can lead to increased creativity and productivity!
  • Serve healthy foods at meetings and take a look at what is in your vending machine or break room.

To become a 2017 iWALK Employer, simply email the following information to teresa.scott@stjoe.org with the subject line "New iWALK Employer":

  • Organization / Company

  • iWALK Point Person: name / email address / phone #
