Physician Bio

I am pursuing a career in medicine that will allow me to apply my core values of compassion, dedication, integrity, and service to my patients and my practice. By following these core values, I hope to not only heal the present ailments of the people I serve, but improve their overall quality of life. I am currently seeking a position opportunity in the outpatient clinical setting that will allow me to fulfill this mission.


Code White Medical Director. June 2015-present. Reviewing and refining Code White and Code Blue procedures and policies in the hospital to reduce morbidity and mortality from such unexpected events.

Medical Ethics Committee Member. June 2014-present. Actively assisting other medical providers, patients, and families with end of life care decisions in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Physician Assistant Preceptor. October 2013-present. Overseeing the education and progression of the physician assistant students as they rotate with the Internal Medicine Clinic.

Standard of Care Case Reviewer. September 2013-present. Providing detailed case by case reviews regarding patient management and standard of care practices. Submitting recommendations designed to improve facility, management, and standard of care practices.


Principle Investigator. July 2015-present. UC Davis Preempt Study, satellite clinic. Researched the effectiveness of a phone application as a potential tool to assist in pain management.

Lead Clinical Practitioner. October 2013-present. Duke Genetic Research Study. Provided information to the patients regarding their genetic risk for heart disease and diabetes in order to assess the benefits of early management versus early lifestyle modifications on outcome.

Clinical Practitioner. January 2012. Participated in a retrospective study regarding kidney disease progression in diabetics and possible correlation with increased frequency to hospital admissions.
