    Very nice.
I am definitely happy with my providers, thank you.
The GI doctor that I saw was very understanding listen to my questions and put me on the right medication. I feel that I was very lucky to see him. He did a great job!
This appt. was for purpose of discussing results of an endoscopy performed on ** 6 week delay due to heavy booking schedule, even tho dr. told me at time of procedure to req. a 15 min. appt. for 2 weeks. Nothing avail - since test result was good - no hurry. Also, during this appt, the dr. CHASTISED me for never having a colonoscopy, instead should have simply ENCOURAGED one be done. Evidently, there is some gastritis happening and the solution was to simply take Pepcid daily. No discussion about whether it is caused by diet (changeable) or stress (not so easily changeable). At the time of this procedure in the hospital, a delay of two hours in the prep area was caused by additional treatment by the dr. on the previous patient. It was only after I asked the nurse after an hour delay what the delay was that she informed me. Waiting was not the problem, not being informed could have been (touchy bladder control) if I tended to be anxious as the patient across the room was for her procedure and she had relatives to keep her calm and reassured. I was alone, which was okay but had the situation been the opposite, a patient alone w/anxiety could be difficult to endure. Also, in a way, her privacy wasn't respected as everyone else waiting for a procedure was open to her questions and needs. A phone call or a check-in to inform patients or tend to any questions or needs would be courteous and welcomed.
Razi Arifuddin could not read a stool analysis nor was he knowledgeable about where to have a CT Colonography done. Basic information that I think every Gastroenterologist should know. No excuse for his lack of information. At the very least, he could have called me six weeks prior to my visit when I scheduled my appointment to tell me he did not know anything. So beyond being ignorant, he also lacked common courtesy and decided to waste my time.
