As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Leeds specializes in providing comprehensive, confidential, and responsive psychotherapy for adolescents and adults of all ages. Dr. Leeds provides a full range of psychotherapy services including treatment for depression, panic attacks, and specific phobias such as speaking anxiety and flying phobia. Dr. Leeds is internationally recognized as an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic post-traumatic stress disorder.
Dr. Leeds received his Ph.D. from International College in Los Angeles, his M.A. from Goddard College in Vermont and his B.A. from UC Santa Cruz. He is a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, the EMDR International Association, the American Psychological Association, and the California Psychological Association. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of EMDR Research and Practice. He is the author of several book chapters, journal articles and a book on the application of EMDR to chronic and complex trauma, panic attacks and phobias.
