In emergency medicine, we sometimes are given the opportunity to resuscitate
people and give them a second chance at life. Other times, it is simply
providing reassurance that their illness will pass. In either case, nothing
less than 100 percent of our efforts is given to make sure the patient
is brought back to health. I sincerely care for all the patients who walk
in the emergency department — helping a patient in a moment of crisis
is the most fulfilling part of my profession.
Currently, I serve as Queen of the Valley Medical Center's quality
assurance director and previously held positions as the emergency department
medical director and emergency medical services director.
In my spare time, I enjoy surfing, skiing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
